Every morning our fish comes from a handful of small day boats working out of Newlyn and Brixham. They fish for a single day at a time, so what reaches us is as fresh as it gets.
Why day boats matter
Short trips mean less fuel, less waste and fish that's handled carefully from sea to ice. We buy what's plentiful rather than insisting on the same species every day.
